The city offers an exceptionally rich selection of restaurants, cafes, and nightclubs where you can spend your moments until the early hours of the morning. Those who prefer a more relaxed atmosphere can find one of the many restaurants for themselves or unwind with a leisurely stroll along the city promenade, which is 2 kilometers long and runs right alongside the beach. The combination of the sea, the Mediterranean, and the scent of pine trees has a calming effect. For all nature lovers, there are two beautiful peninsulas, Sv. Petar and Osejava, as well as the majestic Biokovo mountain, with its highest peak reaching 1762 meters above sea level. The climate is a mild Mediterranean one.
