About this stay
Biljkinog Oca House has won the prestigious title of Croatia’s best traditional house, thanks to its interior that transports you back to bygone eras. This is a house from the beginning of the 20 century, built in a traditional style (known as a Swabian house), which has preserved its charm to this day. The two bedrooms feature solid wood furniture from the beginning of the 20 century, while the living room also has 2 beds, allowing it to accommodate up to 6 people. There are also 2 bathrooms, a kitchen with a dining area, and a long veranda leading to a covered terrace. Additionally, there is a spacious gathering room decorated with traditional materials, which can host up to 30 people. During winter, it has a special charm due to the wood-burning stove that heats the room and creates a unique atmosphere. In the courtyard area, there is a terrace under a pergola, a barn converted into a children’s playroom, and a garden with a portable swimming pool in the summer. As the name suggests, the house is full of plants, and the courtyard also features a garden with numerous flowers and an orchard.
